We build custom cabinets right here in the foothills of North Carolina and take great pride in our craftsmanship. Our design approach is unique to each individual homeowner, designer, architect, and contractor depending on the scope and nature of the project. We build a large range of custom projects; from small and simple to large and elaborate. We are focused on the most innovative technology and equipment, as well as skilled craftsmen to bring your vision to reality. But above all, our family business gives you exceptional service and the confidence you need to proceed.

Estimator
Justin has been with Walker Woodworking since 2006. He went to church with Travis, and one day they had a chance meeting, which led him to get hired one month before he graduated from college. Justin was the 4th employee in the shop at that time and is a valuable member of the team.
Justin has an M.A. in religion from Gardner Webb University, and in his spare time is an avid turkey hunter and spends time with his wife Stephanie and 2 sons.
“I want to do everything to the best of my ability as if I am working for the Lord in every task I perform, be it special or mundane.”
Engineer
David has worked in various positions at Walker Woodworking moving up from shop foreman to Engineer. David works closely with the designer to coordinate the planning and installation of cabinetry by making sure shop drawings are accurate with the job site. He is available to review drawings on site with the contractor or subcontractors as needed to ensure the install goes flawlessly.
Production Supervisor
I majored in Geography at the University of UNC-Charlotte on a softball scholarship. I served eight years in the US Army. I’ve always had a passion for creative works and art. Travis hired me 2017 as a finish room assistant, and I quickly moved up to lead finisher. In this role, I have enjoyed doing countless custom finishes for customers and using this as a form of artistic expression. I enjoy hiking and being outdoors, spending time with my family, and bartending in my spare time.
Shop Foreman
I got my first job in woodworking at a small cabinet shop in Illinois 16 years ago, where I started doing nothing but sanding and sweeping. Through the next few years, I worked my way up to shop foreman doing every aspect of cabinet building. Three years ago, my wife and I moved down to North Carolina with our five children. I found Walker Woodworking to be my new home. I started in box building, learning their way of doing things, and moved up to the shop foreman role a little over a year ago.
