In the garage on his days off Travis would pursue his interest in woodworking
Out of an oak tree which had been planted by his grandfather and had now fallen over, Travis built a crib for his firstborn daughter and a china hutch. Both are treasured pieces
Borrowing $3,000 from his grandmother, Travis purchased the initial tools and machines needed to build his business.
Travis was able to move out of the garage and into a vacant space at his father-in-laws business
The business was now officially incorporated and Travis hired his very first employee. They worked out of a 2100 sq. foot building
More room was needed to keep up with the ever growing demand
Built a new shop on our property
Travis’ wife, Stacey, choose to leave the nursing field and become a full business partner, office manager and marketing extraordinaire
In 2015 Travis and Stacey decided it was time to add to the business with a showroom. It would be a place where customers could come and catch a glimpse of what their dream kitchen could look like in their own home. Greenbrook Design opened its doors in February 2018 and can be visited at 112 N. Lafayette St, Shelby NC
